Brief Bio: I was born in El Dorado, Arkansas. first grade through the tenth at Yocum School and El Dorado High. Graduated in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and attended Arkansas A & M in Monticello, Arkansas (Which is now U.of AR at Monticello). Retired from Georgia Pacific after 35 years. Went into radio in 1989 starting a
Gospel program featuring local Artists and Groups on a local 5000 watt station in Crossett, AR. In nine
weeks was on a 100,000 watt station in Monroe, LA. Was at this station for 15 years playing and promoting
Local Artists and Groups. Retired from radio and was out for 2 years when Mickey called and said they wanted
to start a Gospel program on KXKZ. The rest is history.
