The North Central Louisiana Arts Council (NCLAC) is pleased to announce an exhibit of work by painter Bonnie Ferguson and fiber artist Dorene Kordal at the Dixie Center for the Arts. Ms. Ferguson is an accomplished painter who strives to make decorative art that speaks to people.  Her colorful and fun paintings bring joy to the viewer and she is happy to have her work hung without recognition for herself.  Ms. Kordal is a fiber artist who is drawn to tactile materials.  She finds her inspiration in colors that evoke thoughts of gardens, play toys and the magic of childhood.  Dorene seeks to create imaginative items through the medium of felt. The exhibit will hang in the lobby of the Dixie Center for the Arts from now until August 8th.
